In an effort to help recognize that the post-Katrina tragedy in New Orleans was made immeasurably worse by the diversion of U.S. resources to a cruel war, Steve Earle, Allison Moorer and others will perform at the 43rd Annual Peace Awards on December 12, 2008, Brooklyn, New York.
This event is to also recognize the efforts of Shana Griffin & Kali Akuno who are representatives of the greater New Orleans grassroots efforts to bring the city back to life.

In its Twentieth Anniversary, Steve will join a host of other performers at this years Christmas Jam, presented by Warren Haynes on Saturday, December 13 at the Ashville Civic Center in Ashville, NC.
