Wow, Danny, that is an awesome cover of Goodbye.  Best I've ever heard actually.  You did Steve proud.  It'd be great I think if you shared some more of your covers w/us.  Thanks!

I'm trying to learn how to play guitar and love the sound in Satellite Radio.  Can someone post the tabs for this that go with the Capo 2?

I just played my first show a couple of weeks ago!  I did two originals, and John Walker Blues, and man it was so much fun & more so because I discovered that people actually like the way I sing, and my version of JWB made people cry.

Let us know what you think Dave, and I want a support next time you do Sydney!

Just saw the man play the Enmore theatre acoustic, absolutely incredible! His duets with his wife were pretty cool too.

Re: Who are the musicians and what Steve songs do you play?

I'm kinda new at this so bare with me.  I recently picked up with a couple of other guys who play the guitar.  I play the harps.  We have been trying to put together 'Copperhead Road' and am kinda struggling with it.  I've been playing the bagpipe intro on a 'G' harp with alot of draws.  Then my buddy comes in with the guitar in 'D'.  Is this correct?  Does anyone else do it this way?  I actually pick up the 'D' harp in the middle of the song and hit a few riffs, but have to play the bagpipe stuff in 'G' to make it sound right (to me).  Can anyone help?

    I Feel Alright.

I've been poking around at this one for fun only so I may have missed something on the record.

The G-chord in this one should be (I'm pretty sure) the rock-styled version of the open G-chord, 32033. Let the three brightest strings of the that chord ring out during the verse. While playing the bass notes G (I was born my papa's son)-C ( a wanderin' eye)-F(1 octave up) (a smoking)-E (1 octave up) (gun) G-F-E-G-F-E. There's some hammer-ons from open strings also. Chorus Em-D-C-G. Listen to the record and you might figure it out.

    Copperhead.

Steve plays it in drop-D when he plays it solo (not that you have to). Anyway the intro bagpipe melody should be the same as the guitar plays. And the first chord is D. Don't know if this helped any.

Re: Who are the musicians and what Steve songs do you play?

Well I call myself a 30 yr beginner. I played some bass in high school with some friends and have picked a bit on guitar ever since but never have put enough time into it to really get good enough to figure most stuff out on my own.  I use a lot of books and chord and tab sites. I started to listen to steve when his guitar town came out. I loved it the first time I ever herd it on the radio and have been hooked ever since. i noticed you know Ben McCullagh. Do you know Northern wind. If you have tab or chords for either of these please email them to me. It would be much apreciated.
