    Re: Favourite Album

Certainly a hard choice to make, but "I Feel Alright" is one of my favorite albums in general, let alone by Steve, so I had to go with that one.

    Re: Favourite Album

That wasn't easy... but "The Hard Way" is one I go back to more often than most. I even named my band after it.... and no, it's not a "tribute" band!!!

I voted for The Hard Way too. It has a very special atmosphere somehow.

El Corazón would be my second vote.

Feel Alright contains my absolutely most favourite songs but some tracks I use to skip too.

    Re: Favourite Album

I guess I'll be the first one to say it......."Train a Comin" is my favorite.  It would definitely be followed close by "I Feel Alright".

Hard to pick one as each album requires a different mood but today I'll say Transcendental Blues. One of Steves most consistent albums.

I love TB - yeah, Steve's albums are consistent alright.... consistently random and consistently superb!

    Favourite album

It's difficult to choose one album, the  two  I'm not fussed on are 'The hard way' and 'Shut up and die like an aviator', ' Billy Austin ' being the highlight. I did hear a great bootleg recorded in Hamburg 1997, very raw but the best live stuff I've heard.

I bought Guitar Town when it first came out and the next one Exit 0 and didn't buy another till Just an American boy and was hooked, reallised what I'd been missing all those years. His music always hits the spot and I've got practically everything he's done now.

Saw him for the first time in Basingstoke, the drum machine spoilt it a bit, but he was brilliant.

If I had to pick a song it would be Goodbye.

    Re: Favourite Album

This wasn't an option, but I absolutly love the Mexico Demo's. I know they're not technically and album, but the songs that he wrote their are truely beautiful. Mercenary Song, and Elijah's Church are my favorites. Steve doesn't have a bad album though, so it's so hard to decide. I chose early tracks because of the Mexico Demo's, They aren't on the album but they are early tracks Big Smile
