It's difficult to choose one album, the two I'm not fussed on are 'The hard way' and 'Shut up and die like an aviator', ' Billy Austin ' being the highlight. I did hear a great bootleg recorded in Hamburg 1997, very raw but the best live stuff I've heard.
I bought Guitar Town when it first came out and the next one Exit 0 and didn't buy another till Just an American boy and was hooked, reallised what I'd been missing all those years. His music always hits the spot and I've got practically everything he's done now.
Saw him for the first time in Basingstoke, the drum machine spoilt it a bit, but he was brilliant.
If I had to pick a song it would be Goodbye.
