 well, really i don't feel "old," whatever that is...and my grandmother was like that, too, never had any real fun, never even went to a Frank Sinatra show!!  i see lots of joy ahead, really, and i hope that will include seeing Steve as many times as i can!!  i just get a little low at times, it's been a rough few months....but, i'm glad to be here, even though i am so envious of you folks who get to see Steve more than once!!

indy, when Steve comes back to the tundra here, we have to see him together!!

Wow, You all make me feel like I'm way to young to be rockin' to Steve's music. I'm only 16 and I think I'm the only one in the Teens and Younger catagory. My parents raised me right! Steve has been part of my life since the day I was born. I tell ya what though, I was born in the wrong era. If I was born 30 years before I'd be set! =D

Viky, congrats on your German!  Obviously you are a boy of many talents.  If these guys haven't played in your backyard, they don't know what they're missing.  I am sure they will get around to it soon, can't spend all of their time in places like Amsterdam!  (I wonder why they like it there so much - wouldn't have anything to do with "pot" being legal there - naaaa!). Anyways, don't feel bad, none of "my guys" ever want to play Norfolk/Virginia Beach either.  Good thing I don't mind traveling.....

I am 30.  I was beginning to think i was the youngest Steve Earle fan in Iowa last saturday night.  It was mostly an older crowd.  I consider that a good thing however.  Young people get on my nerves.

When I was in Oxford, Mississippi recently to see Steve my wife and I went to one of the local college town bars. It was like I was in the 60's again. The joint was playing the same tunes that we considered "underground" music in the late 60's and early 70's. The crowd at the Ole Miss concert venue varied from college students to my age. I'll be turning 60 this year and I love this kind of atmosphere!
