    Historical Documentary

I have a historical documentary that I produced while attending Appalachain State University. This video is not for sale and was created for educational purposes only. The piece is about the timber harvest of the early 1900's and the railroad that hauled the logs and minerals from the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. The Soundtrack consist of 5 songs from "The Mountain". I would like for Mr.Earle to see this video. How should I send this video to him? This could also be something cool for the website. Again under Ascap and BmI licenses through the University, I was only permitted to use Mr. Earle's music for practice, this piece is not for sale, I just thought Steve mite want to see it!

PS. I just saw the show in Charlotte on April 19th, it was awesome!

Howdy HighCountry, how long is the video? Is it something you can post it on YouTube?

Hey HighCountry!  Sounds like you have made a great creation.  I teach freshmen college History and would love to show it to my classes...Perhaps when you get it online, you could let us know how to get to it!  Sounds fascinating and I love to sneak Steve Earle's music into every possible section of my classes that I can!  It gives me quite a bit of satisfaction!  Good day to you!  Big Smile

Hi HighCountry1, (I'm guessing you were unable to login to your original account and created another in the process Confused if so send me an email to help@steveearle.com and I'll see if I can help you with that) If you want to pop it in the mail, our address is at the bottom of the Privacy Page. I can't gaurantee anything in the way of your video getting to Steve directly but I'll do what I can.

     Cheers.

Yep, Viky, I love trains - since I have never been out of the United States, no I haven't ever been to CR...but I do gawk over live "railcams" on the internet, and will check out the Czech railways. I'll bet there are many beautiful places to see along the way!

P.S. I think one of the reasons I fell in love with Steve's music, is because he does a lot of train songs. Mystery Train Part II is my favorite one!
