Houston Friday night, hawks and doves

I lucked out and got front row maybe even center seats to the April 25 Houston show and am pretty psyched.  Looking forward to hearing Down Here Below live.  Love the new album.  So Steve's a Texan living in NY and I'm a New  Yorker living in Texas.  Ironic that.  Last time I saw Steve and Allison was at the International Festival downtown a few years ago.  Great show.

Saw Bruce last week.  I get tears in my eyes everytime I hear Last to Die  (who'll be the last to die for a mistake?  the last to die for a mistake?  whose blood will spill?  whose heart will break?  who'll be the last to die....for a mistake?)

I love Steve's line also......."when kids don't die for gasoline...."

The heck with McCain and all those damn hawks.

hello my friend...glad to see your post....i'm a native Texan who has been living 20 years in Minnesota, not so much by my choice, but here I am with three children, one husband and a neurotic little dog...I got to see Steve on their Minneapolis WSS date March 9, it was incredible..i know you are going to love his show...he's the best...

stay cool...i grew up South of Austin, back when the hill country was still an incredible place to live....
