    Thought I'd join you.

Hi there. Greetings from a northern Englishman, ex Manchester (or thereabouts), living in New Zealand. Still waiting for Steve to remember where we are.

Good to meet you. I saw some of your other posts and you certainly are a mad keen fan. So glad that seeing him was all that you hoped it would be. A Steve Earle show is always a great experience.

Welcome maccite! I hope Steve makes it to New Zealand some time so you can see him.

Hey, weren't we talking about New Zealand Steak and Cheese pies on the old message boards? Man, I'm hungry!!

Where's thereabouts fella? I'm originally from Stockport, living in Stalybridge and working in Newton Heath. Also, the bigger question - blue or red?

I'm originally from Macclesfield, but escaped a long time ago. Now in New Zealand via Nottingham and Leicester. And definitely a RED - that was my dad's doing.

Jeez not another United fan, still I hope you win tonight.  Hopefully Chelsea v's United final not that I'd fancy a trip to Moscow I've got friends who've been in the past for the match apparently your best not to even leave the Hotel as the police allegedly have a habit of taking your cash.

    Re: Thought I'd join you.

Yeah. I agree with you about Chelsea making the final, although I think we'd have more chance of beating Liverpool. If they get through again, it makes a complete bollocks of the competition (in my humble opinion) as they're so far off the pace in England.

By the way, hope you get to see Steve again. You never know, you might start warming to the DJ.
